The Foundation

Become a member of the National Gallery of Australia Foundation

If you donate more than $1000 in cash or works of art accumulatively, you automatically become a member of the National Gallery of Australia Foundation.

On joining the Foundation, you will become more involved in the life of the Gallery and experience firsthand how your support contributes to the development of the visual arts in Australia.

The Foundation is the umbrella organisation for all Gallery benefactor groups and raises funds and secures gifts of works of art to support the vision of the NGA and to develop the national art collection for all Australians.

The Foundation is a registered charity and provides official receipts for tax purposes. For more information see the tax FAQs.
